? Gripes of the month: our industry thrives on communication. By cutting local contacts companies risk losing wholesaler focus and a decline in sales of their brands. Manufacturers/suppliers offering different terms in the same sector, for example on-trade wholesale versus delivered cash and carry on- trade - why the difference? Manufacturers sharing prices with end-users. This controls wholesaler margins and undermines trust between supplier and wholesaler.
Will Government proposals to ban the display of tobacco in retail premises damage the wholesale sector?
