Landmark Wholesale member Parfetts Cash & Carry has appointed Bill Knight as ambient buyer at its Sheffield depot.
Knight is responsible for household goods, medicines, biscuits and tobacco products in Parfetts newest depot.
Previously Knight held a similar position at Batleys Cash & Carry for three years. He also spent 20 years with Palmer & Harvey McLane.
Knight said: "Prior to joining Parfetts, I was very aware of the company, more so when they moved to Sheffield in 2005, and how well-respected they are within the industry.
"When the job became available I was delighted to have the opportunity to work with the Parfetts' team and help build Sheffield's growing customer-base.
"The depot is only a few years old and therefore is state-of-the-art and has all the facilities to help me achieve what I need to - to provide independents in the Sheffield area with a quality and competitive offering."
