TIP Trailer Service has announced it is investing in excess of £8m on the acquisition of 375 new trailers.
The trailers are due to enter the Tip UK trailer rental fleet by autumn 2007.
This follows on from Tip taking delivery of over 463 new rental trailers last year. Additionally, TIP is also working on a refurbishment programme covering a further 500 of its existing rental trailers, as the company continues to improve its fleet offering.
John Murray, managing director UK & Ireland of TIP Trailer Services, said: "2007 has already seen a marked increase in our UK rental business, creating exciting opportunities for us to benefit by expanding our fleet.
"We have identified several key niche areas where we see substantial growth prospects for the future and this fact is reflected in the diverse breakdown in the trailer specifications within these latest orders."
