Detailed micronutrient information is now available for all of 3663's 762 own brand products.
Customers can ring the 3663 Advice Centre to find out the vitamin and mineral content of their purchases - a service which it says is becoming increasingly sought after in schools and hospitals - as well as the standard allergy and diet information, and energy, carbohydrate, protein, fat and sodium breakdowns.
It can provide information on whether a product has been fried during the manufacture process and if it contains wheat. Product information including meat, fish and fibre content will also be available.
Nicky Dixey 3663 product brand manager said: "Putting together nutritionally balanced menus is becoming increasingly important, particularly in education and healthcare."
