Foodservice wholesaler T Quality has reported significant performance improvements after its £235,000 investment in the Accord system from Business Computer Projects.

BCP, a supply chain solutions specialist, supplied the 80-user Accord system which is now fully bedded in. T Quality has its headquarters in Swindon and 10 fully integrated distribution depots across the country with a turnover exceeding £55m.

The company chose the Accord Food Service solution which included financial ledgers and flexible, food specific purchasing as well as bespoke work to meet some specialist requirements, within the areas of both telesales and purchasing where special features are necessary to handle buying and selling goods.

The system was introduced across all depots over a 10-month period, with on-site training being given by BCP staff at T Quality's head office and then cascaded down to staff at each depot. The system went live over the course of a weekend to avoid disruption to normal trading.
