Booker bottles make life easier

Licensees can have an easier and safer summer thanks to Booker introducing a plastic bottle variety on a number of key products. The new format covers eight brands including Stella Artois and Smirnoff Ice.

Booker marketing director Mark Collier said the unbreakable bottles were ideal for licensees who were holding outdoor summer events. They were far easier to tidy up and dispose of than the glass alternative and a safer solution for both Booker customer’s and their consumers.

“Booker wants to help make every customers life easier,” he said. “This new format is a perfect opportunity for licensees to create a safer environment for summer BBQs and garden parties. We work hard with our suppliers to ensure we offer market-leading products, which provide real benefits for their business. I am sure licensees will see the value in this new format.”

Customers can order the products they want from their local Booker branch.

Collier added: “We offer licensees everything they need under one roof, from ingredients to finished products covering chilled, frozen, grocery, non-foods and alcohol.

“With the new next-day delivery and weekly specials for caterers, Booker helps customers trade profitably to build their success.”
