Richie Gray, director of sales for Kraft Foods Away From Home, will be looking in his presentation at ways that wholesalers and suppliers can work to their mutual benefit.

He says: "In foodservice we face a relatively sluggish market but by working together in a truly collaborative way across the foodservice supply chain we can unlock exciting growth opportunities.

"I will demonstrate how, by branded suppliers and wholesalers combining each other's skills, the foodservice operator can realise significant incremental revenue by providing what the consumer really wants and is prepared to pay for; how this collaborative approach can allow wholesalers to unlock unexploited opportunities; and how a collaborative approach up and down the supply chain, ultimately creates long-term, sustainable value for all."

Gray has worked for Kraft for nine years in a variety of sales and marketing roles. Prior to that he worked for United Distillers.

He has been in the director of sales role since July 2005 and has been focusing much of his efforts on leading the relaunch of the Kenco Coffee Company, and in particular, developing the Kenco Coffee Company model in partnership with the foodservice wholesalers.
