Building on the success of last years 'Warehouse Gastro Evening' in Edinburgh, Costco held two similar events this month.
The Warehouse Gastro Evening was held at Aberdeen warehouse on February 5 and Glasgow warehouse on February 7, attracting about 500 visitors over the two nights.
The events were open to existing customers and any interested businesses from the catering community wishing to visit the warehouse to see and sample the meats, wines and other fresh produce.
The events had a Scotch Beef chef giving beef cookery demonstrations and providing samples with a wine expert in attendance. There were also stands displaying Costco's entire ranges of fish, cheeses, fresh produce and bread.
Colin Smith, marketing manager of Costco Edinburgh, said: "Such an event gives each end of the food chain, from farmers to caterers a chance to see and speak to the other end."
