Landmark Wholesale has appointed Richard Banks as trading controller responsible for its chilled and frozen category.
His role will involve looking at food trading, distribution, marketing and product development in the category.
Banks said: "I am really looking forward to developing this category within Landmark and placing more focus on the chilled and frozen side. In the short term I am looking to re-organise the supply chain and find a more cost-effective route to market."
Martin Williams, managing director of Landmark Wholesale, said: "We are delighted to bring Richard into Landmark Wholesale, and help him to develop this growing channel. His appointment will allow us to place a specific focus on this category and help expand and grow this key trading area."
Banks joins Landmark from his previous role as a buyer for Food Partners, a sandwich manufacturer for the foodservice sector.
