Capper & Co, the Spar regional distribution company for South Wales and the South East of England, has announced the appointment of Richard Harman as trading director designate.
Harman is replacing Brian Rees who will be taking on the role of commercial director.
Harman has been responsible for the introduction of pricing schemes for Spar retail members and has developed the category management principles of the trading department.
Capper & Co managing director Robert Upton said: "Richard has been a valued member of our senior management and trading team for some time. I am delighted to announce his appointment as trading director designate."
Harman will take up the full appointment of trading director on 1 May.
