P&H clinches a five-year supply deal worth £75m

Palmer & Harvey McLane has won a five-year contract worth £75m to supply Northcliffe Retail.

The contract will include delivery of an ambient product range of tobacco, confectionary, soft drinks, snacks and grocery.

P&H will service the 66 company-owned stores, which are located mainly in the east Midlands, and will be the nominated supplier for more than 250 Northcliffe Retail Parnership members.

Colin Mullins, managing director of Northcliffe Retail, said: "Palmer & Harvey McLane has impressed us over a lengthy review of their operation, service levels and logistics systems. We believe they will add real value to our business in the future."
