Scottish & Newcastle has secured the rights to become the official drinks supplier to the city's Hogmanay Royal Bank Street Party and Concert in the Gardens.
A range of drinks including Foster's, John Smith's, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold from specially built public bars at the Royal Bank Street Party on the Princess Street.
Scottish & Newcastle will work in partnership with Edinburgh's Hogmanay to promote responsible drinking and Scottish & Newcastle sponsored free night buses will be available on December 31.
Nigel Pollard, head of PR and sponsorship at Scottish & Newcastle, said: "Scottish & Newcastle is proud to play an active role in Edinburgh's 2006 Hogmanay celebrations."
