The FWD My Shop Is Your Shop campaign is giving away 20 Christmas hampers to independent retailers to be passed on to deserving local cases.

The hampers are part of the Caring at Christmas activity being organised by MSYS and are priced at £75. They contain wines, port, a Christmas pudding, chocolates, Dundee cake and other seasonal luxuries.

MSYS is giving a hamper to the best 20 independent, convenience stores or newsagents who tell MSYS about their community Christmas activities or how they are helping others in need.

Alan Toft, chairman of MSYS, said: "These are nice hampers and would make a very nice goodwill present for a retailer to pass on to a deserving case. It's part of our drive to encourage retailers to step up their community involvement at Christmas."

Retailers should send an email with a brief description of how they are helping locally at Christmas to hq@fwd-uk.com, with the subject heading: 'Christmas hamper', and their name, store location and telephone number. The closing date is 23 November.
