Boston-based Pilgrim Foodservice supplies more than 3,000 restaurants, bars, cafés and fast-food outlets with predominantly frozen and chilled catering products. Its new partnership with Today's will allow the company to expand its ranges.

Pilgrim has been established for 26 years, and managing director Peter Bateman is keen to move the business from its existing 40,000 sq ft depot to a new build site early next year.

"Our new partnership with the Today's Group will allow us to streamline the services we offer to our customers and take the company to new levels within the foodservice industry.

"We are keen to explore the Today's Group's exclusive Kitchen King range, which will add a new dimension to our business and boost our position as a major supplier to independent companies."
