In outlining the new arrangements for the finance and group buying aspects, Martin Race, Batley's operations director, said: "The Bestway head office at Abbey Road, in Park Royal, west London, has taken on all invoicing and payments, while the other Batley's functions of group buying for pet products, fresh and frozen foods and catering products and the marketing for these sectors will be run from Batley's Huddersfield office, which was the original head office.

"Other Batley's administration functions including IT, credit control, and branch finance will also be centred on the Huddersfield office."
