== Premier goes online ==

Booker's symbol group Premier has launched a new consumer website, premier-stores.co.uk. The site has been developed to show the value on offer at Premier stores nationwide and help consumers find their nearest shop. Highlighted on the website are the four-weekly consumer promotions, news and a contact link.

== First Drinks bought ==

William Grant & Sons has confirmed the purchase of its joint venture partner Bacardi Martini's 50% share in First Drinks Brands, the UK distribution business.

== Eisberg brand sold ==

Bacardi-Martini announced the sale of the Eisberg brand and trademarks to Halewood International. Eisberg is currently distributed through the First Drinks Brands and will switch to Halewood International's wine division, Chalie Richard.

== Baron range in UK ==

Wanis has secured a long-term deal with Baron Foods of St Lucia to exclusively supply its range of sauces to the UK. Baron manufactures a range of authentic Caribbean style sauces, marinades and exotic fruit syrups.

== Distribution change ==

Whyte & Mackay will take over distribution of Whyte & Mackay blended Scotch whisky and Vladivar vodka brands from Maxxium UK on March 1 next year. The contract was due to expire in 2007 and March 1 was agreed by both parties.

== Brakes launches ==

Brakes has launched two fully baked square pies with steak filling and chicken and leek and ham. It has also launched two fish and seafood based terrines with poached smoked salmon with lemon and crab with coriander, lemongrass and ginger.
