Confectionery maker Topps has teamed up with sales and marketing broker Jenks in a bid to increase distribution within the cash and carry, wholesale and convenience sector.
Guy Harris, Jenks director of sales and marketing, said it would work with Topps to ensure that its trade customers received the right merchandising and promotional support with appropriate packs, packaging, promotions, display/POS material and category insights.
He said Jenks sales force was able to cover virtually all cash and carries and wholesalers, and most convenience operators in the UK.
"This will help drive distribution of Topps brands into outlets that they have not been able to cover themselves. 'Feet on the ground' is essential in this sector and we are well placed to deliver Topps' requirements," he added.
"We are delighted to have formed this relationship with Jenks and are also excited about the growth prospects," said Martin Tilney, newly appointed Topps International sales and marketing director.
